Maybe add "Dizziness BETTER when driving" and "exercise induced wobbliness". Check to both, but not to most of those on the list. Except anxiety of course... that goes with the territory.

Dizziness is better when driving for me EXCEPT when downtown or when my vertical horizon is obstructed. Puts a fly in my pudding.

Does anyone think to themselves that their vision has just changed? Like they are seeing out of different eyes? I have this weird thing where it just seems like my vision 24/7 is different since the birth of my second child 4 years ago. I call it "second baby syndrome." That is when all my problems started, and it has progressed steadily so that now I have vision and off-balance issues all day everyday. It is hard to even sit in front of the computer screen to write this now --- and I work as clerical staff - computers are my job! I will feel off balance if my desk chair moves ever so slightly. Trying to stay positive! God Bless us one and all!

Take care,
April

It's like you're in my head, April...which sort of makes sense. See - I went to the optometrist because I felt like I was looking at the world through someone else's eyes - I mean...coupled with the confusion and all. And now here you are saying something about seeing out of different eyes?

OUT OF MY HEAD, WOMAN!

I get stiff neck and lower back spasms at my desk. Probably because I Tense my body to avoid having anything dizzy me up.

symptoms poll:
vision problems- like looking through hand held video camera (jilty) - I called it drunk vision to my optometrist ;)
balance - feel off balance especially if I am righting my position after bending over to say pull clothes out of dryer - or will feel as though I am being pushed to the floor
off balance sensations with my own breathing, weird!!

Ironically I can drive, though it can look as though the street is moving toward me if I am stopped at stop light - just for a second

I feel as though I have spent so much time trying to recreate my sensations, to no avail, looking for patterns. But I have come to the conclusion that I just have good times and mostly bad times, but I try to take advantage of the good times and play with my small children- and try to stay positive during the bad times (which is HARD!)

It's funny, I have the "hand held camera" weirdness too, and the feeling that my eyes are just not focusing on things correctly, like they do this funky "shuffle" when I move my head. But that's only when I'm sitting or standing still. I don't notice anything strange at all while driving, riding a bike, even walking.

I definitely have the hand-held camera vision although it has improved some. Used to be if I looked to the left or right is was a sort of swoopy blur until I stopped, then I'd have a moment to re-orient myself and process what I was looking at. It's still there but much better now. Also, walking can be bouncy too. So glad that I'm not alone but sad that some of you have the same thing!
